Join Electric Delivery Industry Professionals at the Virtual MEA Electric Operations Technical & Leadership Summit

In order to increase the availability of outstanding educational content, while reducing the costs associated with attending an in-person conference, MEA is excited to announce that the annual Electric Operations Technical & Leadership Summit is going virtual May 4-6, 2021. This virtual event will feature 45 technical sessions presented by industry experts in electric delivery.

MEA committee members carefully curated a collection of speakers from all over the country to provide various perspectives and information to a broad virtual audience. Technical topics cover safety & training, substations, dispatching, metering, codes & standards, overhead, underground and reliability. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from genocide survivor and mental health advocate, Maja Kazazic, during the opening keynote which will be followed by a live Q&A session hosted by the event emcee and keynote speaker. The conference content will be made available to registrants in an on-demand format following the close of the live program.

The summit is designed for a wide audience ranging from field supervisors and crew leaders to operations and safety managers and technicians at all levels. Content is offered for emerging and existing leaders in utility operations. The virtual format encourages greater participation from utility company personnel, increasing the opportunity to build one’s network of professionals and peers.

In a year where connections have been limited, virtual learning offers an opportunity to continue providing easy access to relevant information, as well as peer to peer networking and discussions. Registration is now open -- gain access at MEAenergy.org/electric-summit.
