MEA Energy Association (MEA) is hosting a webinar for talent management professionals in the energy industry to begin sharing lessons learned for staff training and development on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Jerry Kaminski, manager of learning development for instructional design and vendor management at Consumers Energy, a public utility that provides natural gas and electricity to 6.6 million of Michigan’s residents, will present his experience in converting face-to-face training into remote learning during the webinar entitled “Insights to a Global Pandemic: How Does It impact Talent Development?”
“Talent management is a crucial part of our industry, and we have seen a number of changes in this area over the past few years,” said Bobbie Nuthals, manager of HR strategy and services at WEC Energy Group out of Wis. “This has been especially true since March when the pandemic turned everything on its head. We have been in this ‘new normal’ for several months now and are starting to figure out what actually works and what we need to do for the future. This webinar will be an excellent resource for anyone working in talent development.”
Attendees will walk away with an expanded network and industry tested solutions. The webinar will define solutions and best practices covering:
