Pandemic Response Update: Energetic Women Conference

MEA Energy Association (MEA), the supporting organization of Energetic Women, has been closely monitoring the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) along with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and National Institutes of Health. We have also been following the impact on the companies we serve—gas and electric utilities, industry partners, and contractors. Out of concern for you and the safety of your communities, the Energetic Women Conference scheduled for June 16-18, 2020 in Pittsburgh, PA has been cancelled.
 
We make this announcement with a heavy heart, but we also know it is the right decision. While we hope the situation will be different by early this summer, we cannot predict the new normal for our members or their companies. Unfortunately, postponement was not a possibility due to the limited availability on meeting space and sleeping rooms at the hotel.

Registrants have received information about the cancellations, rescheduling, and next steps. We truly value your support and commitment to MEA and our in-person learning events. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

MEA and Energetic Women remain committed to preparing women within the energy industry for leadership roles in operations and engineering. Please save the dates of June 15-17, 2021 for the Energetic Women Conference in Detroit, MI.
