CenterPoint Energy names Minnesota native, Christe Singleton, vice president of the Louisiana/Mississippi Region

Minneapolis – Feb. 20, 2018 – Christe Singleton has been named vice president of the Louisiana/Mississippi Region, effective March 1, 2018.

In her new role, Singleton will be responsible for Gas Operations and new market growth. Singleton will report to Richard Zapalac, senior vice president of Gas Operations. “Christe brings diverse experience in customer service, compliance and operations to her new duties,” said Zapalac.

Singleton has been with CenterPoint Energy for more than 30 years in various Gas Operations areas with increasing levels of responsibility. Most recently, she has played important roles in many strategic initiatives to drive business success, including the Enterprise Payment Strategy, Home Service Plus (HSP) Human Integration and HSP leadership and expansion team. Prior to her new role, Singleton served as director of the Minnesota North District, where she was responsible for over 300 employees in Gas Operations and new market development.

Singleton, a Minnesota native, has an undergraduate degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and an MBA in Business Administration from Augsburg College, St. Paul Minnesota. Singleton is married, has two grown children and two grandchildren. She and her husband Steven currently reside in Andover, Minnesota.
